Jurassic World Actor Chris Pratt Tells Teens: “I Love God, You Should Too”

In an entertainment world that routinely mocks Christianity, one big name actor is using his platform to share his love of God.

After starring in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, actor Chris Pratt won “Summer Movie Actor” during the 2018 Teen Choice Awards held Sunday evening. And he used the opportunity to unabashedly praise God to a crowd of teenagers.

“I want to thank God,” he said to applause. “I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces. I say I love God. That’s my thing.”

He encouraged teens to do the same. “I love Him,” he added, “And you should too.”

This isn’t the first time Pratt has used his voice for God. During the MTV awards in June, he stressed to fans that “God is real.” And in 2017, when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pratt acknowledged God again.
