With Halloween now in the rearview, we can all officially start celebrating the holiday season loud and proud by cranking up the Christmas music, drafting our holiday wish lists, and of course, strategizing our Black Friday shopping sprees.
And thanks to Target, all that holiday gift-giving is about to get even easier.
In a press release issued Nov. 1, Target revealed its annual Black Friday ad, and announced a new mobile technology that will allow shoppers to “skip the line” and check out with a Target team member from anywhere within the store.
The Black Friday ad comes packed with Target’s lowest prices of the year, which are all now available to view on the store’s website. Plus, you don’t have to wait long to take advantage of some amazing savings — Target’s Black Friday preview sale launched today, and will let you score savings on select products for one day only. Some particularly juicy highlights? You can nab $30 off that Instant Pot you’ve been jonesing for and $110 off a Dyson vacuum. (WHAT.)
As for that new mobile technology, Target promises it’ll make the holiday shopping season way easier, since Target team members will be posted around the store and available to help whenever — and wherever — you’re ready to check out.
I don’t know about you, but this has to be my favorite part. I mean, no lines at Target? This kinda feels like Christmas came early. That’s literally the only deterrent for me when it comes to shopping for holiday gifts in-store, rather than online. And for parents who avoid holiday shopping with kids who grow restless in long, slow-moving checkout lines, this could be a major game-changer.
The Target mobile app will also have a Black Friday deals map, which will help you navigate the store — and the savings — more efficiently.
As for Black Friday hours, better mark your calendars now: Doors will open at 5 PM on Thanksgiving and close at 1 AM on Friday, Nov. 23. Doors will open again at 7 AM on Friday, Nov. 23.
See you all there!
